Catalans prop Remi Casty will join Sydney Roosters for the 2014 season.

Casty, 28, made his first team debut for the Dragons in 2006, and he has been a key player ever since.

The French club will release Casty from his current contract at the end of this season, allowing him a move to Sydney on a two-year contract.

Catalans chairman Bernard Guasch said, “It’s obviously a big loss for our club, but it’s a great opportunity for him to play alongside the best players in the world.”

Gausch went on to claim that Casty will return to the club after his NRL experience.
