Castleford won’t appeal fine decision

Castleford CEO Richard Wright has stated that the club will not be appealing against the £500 fine imposed on the club for breaching operational rules.

The RFL announced earlier that Castleford had been fined £500 for breaching the operational rules for their part in the kit clashing debacle against Huddersfield earlier this month.

Wright stated “I’m personally very disappointed by this outcome and disagree with the decision. However, it would not be viable both financially and in terms of time and effort for the club to appeal”
