Castleford train at Everton FC

Castleford have been trying out the state of the art facilities at Finch Farm, training home to Premier League football club Everton.

Players were put through their paces by members of the Everton coaching staff, including David Weir and Alan Stubbs, as part of the Tigers’ preparations ahead of their Super League opener against Warrington next Sunday.

Head Coach Ian Millward said: “All staff at Everton FC couldn’t have been more obliging. They have outstanding facilities at Finch Farm and it was a real privilege for the guys to be able to experience that.

“It was a different challenge for them but they really enjoyed the day and were buzzing from start to finish.”
