Castleford will face Leeds in the Women’s Super League Grand Final at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday.

Both sides navigated their respective semi-final clashes over the weekend to book a repeat of July’s Challenge Cup final, which Leeds won 16-10.

Castleford defeated reigning champions Wigan 34-4 with tries from Tara Stanley, Maisie Lumb, Sinead Peach, Frankie Townend and Tamzin Renouf.

They had been unbeaten in Super League until last week, when they lost their 100% record to St Helens.

St Helens had hoped for home advantage in the Grand Final, but they were narrowly beaten 18-14 at home to Leeds.

It means a second successive Grand Final for the Rhinos, who lost 18-16 in last year’s final.

This year’s Grand Final is being televised live by Sky Sports.
