Castleford will face Leeds in the Women’s Challenge Cup final in Bolton later this month after an emphatic 100-0 rout of Wakefield.

The Tigresses ran in an astonishing 19-tries in front of 913 fans at the Mobile Rocket Stadium, with Tara Stanley, Frankie Townend and Maisie Lumb all scoring hat-tricks. Stanley would finish with 32 points after adding 10 conversions from 14 attempts.

Leeds beat Castleford 20-14 in last year’s final, and they set up a re-match with a thrilling 16-10 semi-final win at St Helens.

Caitlin Beevers scored a stunning long-range try with five minutes to play to seal the win, after Courtney Hill’s touchline conversion had drawn the Rhinos level at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

The final takes place on the same day as the men’s Challenge Cup semi-final double header at the University of Bolton Stadium, Saturday July 27th.
