Castleford prop Suaia Matagi to miss start of season
Suaia Matagi could make his Castleford debut
Castleford prop Suaia Matagi will miss the start of the new season with a calf injury.
The Tigers take on Warrington in their first game of the 2021 Super League campaign on March 28, but new arrival Matagi will be unavailable due to a calf injury.
Castleford face Hull KR in Adam Milner’s testimonial on Sunday but they will be without several first team players. Danny Richardson, Liam Watts, George Griffin and Greg Eden won’t feature as precaution.
Winger James Clare’s road to recovery is on track following a knee injury he sustained at the end of last season.
