Castleford extend Wood deal

Huddersfield half-back Kyle Wood has extended his loan spell with Super League rivals Castleford.

Wood, 19, joined the Tigers following the departure of scrum-half Brent Sherwin to Catalans, but his initial one-month loan deal ended after their victory over Salford at The Willows last Sunday.

However, the two clubs have now agreed an extension to his deal, although he will be unavailable for the Tigers when they face the Giants next weekend.
