Cas target Saints and Giants

Castleford coach Daryl Powell is looking for his team to reel in St Helens and Huddersfield in the Super League table, and claim a top-four spot.

Cas were boosted by their single point win over Warrington last week, and Powell has confirmed that his side have the teams above them in their sights now.

“We’re looking up and whether we can reel Huddersfield and St Helens in,” he told the Pontefract and Castleford Express.

“Huddersfield and Saints play each other this week so it’s a great opportunity for us if we can win our game.

“The results in the last two weeks have brought St Helens right back into the fight for fourth.

“Obviously we’ve got a tough game this week and have to work hard to win that, but it’s becoming potentially more than a two-horse race for that fourth spot.”
