Cas recover to edge past Saints

Castleford came from behind to beat St Helens 16-12 on Sunday.

The much-changed Tigers trailed at the break after tries from Mark Percival and Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook gave Saints a 12-4 lead.

Mike McMeeken added to Kieran Gill’s first half effort after the restart, before Tom Holmes crossed for the winning try to seal the points for Cas.

The Tigers now lead Salford by four points at the top of the Super League table.
