Captain Hudson stays at North Wales

North Wales Crusaders have handed a new deal to captain Lee Hudson.

Hudson arrived in Wrexham back in 2012 and was appointed captain by coach Mike Grady ahead of the 2017 season.

He said: “I’m pleased to be signing for another year.

“We under achieved last year and we aim to be finishing much higher in the league in 2018.

“Having missed three months through injury, I felt that I had a lot more game time in me come September so I can’t wait to get back into it.”

Grady added: “I’m delighted that Lee has committed to the club for the 2018 season.

“It was a priority that we kept him on board as he is an important part of what we are trying to achieve here.”

“Lee leads from the front in training and during games and is very professional in his approach to the game.

“I’m looking forward to working with him again next season.”
