Canterbury Bulldogs have issued a statement following an alleged sex tape involving Dylan Napa going viral on social media.

The Cook Islands international can be seen in the video engaging in sex acts with an unidentified woman.

Napa’s new club have confirmed the matter has been referred to the NRL’s integrity unit.

It is unclear when the footage was taken but in the Bulldogs’ statement, the club claim it was filmed ‘several years ago’. The footage was taken by an unidentified third party in the same room.

In a statement released by Canterbury, it read: “The club has today been made aware of alleged images surfacing on social media of a current player taken several years ago.

“The club has informed the NRL integrity unit of the matter.

“The club is not in a position to comment further at this time.”
