Canet commits to Toulouse

Toulouse Olympique have confirmed that forward Bastien Canet has signed for the club for next season.

The prop, who originates in the Val de Dagne villages in the Aude region of France, has inked a new deal for 2017 after impressing Sylvain Houles and his coaching team.

He signed for Olympique in the summer of 2015, after coming through the ranks at Carcassone and featuring for the French national team at youth levels.

The Toulouse coaching team believe Canet shows great promise and can be an effective front rower in the Championship.
