Ricky Stuart has reportedly pulled interest for premiership-winning prop Tim Glasby, who now looks likely for the Newcastle Knights.

Glasby, 29, has been with the Melbourne Storm since 2013, making his debut in round 16 against the Wests Tigers, but is now looking for a new club.

Canberra were in the front-line to sign the forward but have pulled out and will look to retain some of their own instead.

Queensland representative Josh Papalii is amongst the 13 names coming off contract at the end of the season for the Raiders, and the club will concentrate on keeping their own, according to sources.

Junior Paolo and Shannon Boyd are also names that have been gaining interest from rival clubs.

Nathan Brown is now likely to snatch the signing of Glasby, who rejected a three-year extension with his current club and has over 90 NRL apps.

Newcastle Knights sit 10th in the NRL ladder, and Glasby would be a solid addition to Brown’s re-developed side.
