NRL side Canberra are set to make a move for Catalans’ former Queensland centre Adam Mogg, according to Australian magazine Rugby League Week.

The Raiders are looking to replace Joel Monaghan, who has been ruled out for two months with a thumb injury, and have turned to Mogg, who is in his third year in France.

Canberra chief executive Don Furner said: “We heard on the grapevine that Adam hasn’t been too happy over there so we have spoken to him.

“It just comes down to whether we can work something out with Catalans. Hopefully we can come to some sort of arrangement.”
