Canada international Louis Robinson has signed a new one-year contract with London Skolars.

The 27-year-old recently represented the Wolverines in their Rugby League World Cup qualifiers in Jackonville, Florida.

Robinson struggled with injuries throughout the 2018 League 1 season, but he is raring to go ahead of next year.

He said: “I am excited for the forthcoming season, last year was a difficult one due to injuries but I’m working hard to get past those this pre-season and hope to show what I can do this year and make a big contribution to the team.

“Hopefully on the back of that we can have a successful 2019.”

Skolars’ coach Jermaine Coleman commented: “We’re glad Louis has signed again.

“He was a big loss last year due to injury. He is the club captain and it will be like signing a brand-new player.

“I’m looking forward to having him back in the ranks, he has made a positive start to pre-season on the back of the World Cup qualifiers with Canada, where he performed unbelievably well given the fact that he was out the whole season.”
