Oldham centre Cameron Leeming has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

The 25-year-old joined the Roughyeds midway through the 2019 campaign and helped the club achieve promotion to the Championship.

Leeming said: “I’d love to see us comfortably placed in the Championship and with the squad that’s being assembled for next year I think we can achieve that.

“I’ve loved my rugby since coming to Oldham. I like everything about the club, especially the fans, and I’ve given the club a big wrap when asked about it by other players who were considering a move to Oldham.”

Oldham coach Matt Diskin said: “We are delighted to have him back with us next year.

“He’s excellent for us across the back line, whether it be at centre or wing. He’s a big, athletic kid who can quickly can get us on the front foot.”
