Cronulla Sharks have signed hooker Cameron King from Featherstone on a one-year deal.

The 28-year-old scored 18 tries in 25 appearances for Rovers in the Championship last season.

King played 43 games in the NRL for St George Illawarra Dragons, North Queensland Cowboys and Parramatta Eels between 2010-18.

He said: “It’s was good to get here, meet everyone and jump straight into it.

“I wasn’t sure I’d get another opportunity in the NRL, so I’m grateful to be back. It’s good to get here and I’m excited about the year ahead.

“I think it’s really exciting the squad we’ve got here and I’m looking forward to a big pre-season and hopefully a good year in 2020.”
