Crusaders second row Hep Cahill has received no further punishment after he appeared before RFL Disciplinary Committee today charged with committing an offence during Saturday’s Carnegie Challenge Cup game against Leeds Rhinos at Headingley Carnegie.

Cahill appeared before the committee charged with a Grade A offence for kicking Leeds Rhinos player Rob Burrow in the 59thminute of the contest but after taking the players excellent disciplinary record into account, the panel deemed the challenge clumsy but without malice and the red card shown to Cahill following the incident to be sufficient punishment

Cahill has received a warning regarding his future conduct.
