Australian prop Mitch Cahalane is to leave Halifax at the end of the season.
Calahane, 28, has spent three seasons with the club but will return Down Under when his contract expires.
He said: “I’ve enjoyed my time at Halifax.
“It’s a good club, a good set of lads and the people are great. I will miss the place but I feel
the time is right for me to return home to my family in Sydney. There have been some real highlights, making the Qualifiers 2 out of my 3 seasons has been very good. When we beat Leigh in the first year (of the qualifiers), that was a highlight for me.”
