Burgess to miss France game
Sam Burgess will England‘s match against France in Avignon before the Four Nations if he is selected as expected.
Burgess has taken the early guilty plea for a grade one tripping charge after being cited in Friday’s win over the Canterbury Bulldogs in the last game of the regular season.
Under NRL disciplinary rules Burgess will accrue 122 points, which results in a one match suspension and 22 points carried over on his record.
