Bulls to play on Sundays in 2007

Correspondent

engage Super League and Carnegie World Club Champions Bradford Bulls have announced that non-televised home games will be played on Sunday afternoon's at 3.00 pm in 2007.

The decision comes after a wide ranging fan consultation including the opportunity for all fans to vote on their favoured proposal.

Bulls Media manager, Stuart Duffy said

"We conducted a survey and the overwhelming majority of fans stated that they wanted to go back to Sunday at 3PM. We like to think we are a club that listens to our fans and with that view we have taken the decision to move. The decision to play games on Fridays this season was to try and put some stability into the fixtures with so many games being switched for TV purposes. However fans have now stated what they want and we are happy to abide by their wishes. We hope that they will vote with their feet and help increase crowds for next season.

We are looking to get the families back to the Club and we're taking steps to make sure our pre-match entertainment will be of a high standard in 2007."

The Sunday 3pm option received over 50% of all the votes cast and was significantly more popular than either Friday or Sunday evenings.
