Bulls Through To Face Hull

The final score of 40-24 was not a true reflection of a game in which the away side were in contention right until the last ten minutes, although there can be no denying that Bradford deserve their spot in next week’s final eliminator.

The Bulls raced into an 18-0 lead inside the first quarter courtesy of touch downs from Paul Deacon and Michael Withers (2).

But the Wolves were not going to give up without a fight; tries from Lee Briers, Henry Fa’afili, Toa Kohe-Love and Stuart Reardon giving them a 22-20 lead.

Man of the match Deacon kicked a penalty to draw level before adding a try on 68 minutes to give the lead back to the hosts before Lesley Vainikolo’s length-of-the-field effort settled the clash.

Withers completed his hat-trick towards the end of the game giving an uneven look to the result, but this try appeared eminently questionable; however the game was over as a contest by that point.
