Bulls thrash stunned Giants

Bradford spoilt Danny Brough‘s return and kept their Super League play-off hopes alive after thrashing Huddersfield 36-0 at the Grattan Stadium this afternoon.

The Giants defeat has all but ended their hopes of a top-two spot, but the Bulls are still scrapping for a play-off spot and they are now only three points behind eighth-place Hull FC.

Two tries from Paul Sykes and a try each for Ben Jeffries and Michael Platt in the first half ensured the Bulls went into the break with a commanding lead.

It was more of the same after the break with further tries from Patrick Ah Van and Brett Kearney, which inflicted Huddersfield’s fourth away defeat in a row.

With just five games to go, both sides still have plenty to play for and Huddersfield will be looking to Danny Brough to help them rediscover their form which made them such a formidable outfit earlier in the season.
