Bulls land Dale Ferguson

test

Bradford have completed the signing of Dale Ferguson as they continue their recruitment for the 2014 season.

Ferguson, 25, is currently with Huddersfield and was previously with Wakefield. Earlier this season he spent time on loan with Hull KR and the Bulls have beaten off competition for his signature from several other Super League clubs.

Bradford coach Francis Cummins feels Ferguson will add a lot to the squad:

He said, “I’ve looked at Dale and thought ‘he could be great for us’. He’s not the tallest but he’s strong and he’s full on.

“After the developments with Elliott (Whitehead), I needed a back-rower and Dale was the man I wanted.

“He tends to go under the radar but he’s consistent and has strike power as well, as he showed against us at the Magic Weekend.

“It’s really pleasing that he’s chosen us over other clubs, especially ones he is familiar with. He’s heard about what is going on here and wants to be part of it.”

Ferguson, a Scottish international, will join the Bulls on a two-year contract.
