Bulls in Cook injury blow

Bradford Bulls have received another injury blow with the news that Matt Cook has been ruled out of action for three months with a wrist injury.

Cook, who has been in fine form of late, has had trouble with his wrist for the past few weeks and a scan has revealed a fracture that will need an operation.

Bulls Coach Steve McNamara said today:

“It’s really disappointing to lose Matt at this stage.  He has been playing really well lately and it’s a blow both to the club and to Matt himself.  It is something we will just have to cover from within the squad and it gives an opportunity for someone else to step up.”
