Bulls Bridge gap for a month

After the loss of Garreth Carvell earlier, Bradford have announced the signing of Danny Bridge on a month’s loan.

Bridge, 21, joins from Warrington, where he plays alongside his brother Chris – a former Bulls player.

Head coach Francis Cummins is delighted with the signing of the forward, and he will be in contention for a place in the Bradford squad for Sunday’s Super League opener against Castleford.

“He’s very big and strong but he has some skill about him too,” said Cummins, who coached Bridge at under-16’s level.

“He can put some real hits in and was like that as a kid.

“He gives us a number in the back and front row.”
