Brough to sign for Cas

Danny Brough is set to announce his stay at Castleford Tigers, which is expected to be announced exclusively in Thursday's Pontefract and Castleford Express.

Brough has been the subject of intense speculation in the last few weeks, with a will he-wont he situation.

Hull KR were rumoured to be pondering over whether to approach the back, while Widnes were also rumoured to be looking to strengthen their backline.

The completion of Brough's second year at the Jungle is almost certainly set to complete Terry Matterson's 2007 Squad, however another signing is possibly in the pipeline after James King move from Wyong Roo's broke down due to personal reasons.

Meanwhile, Richard Fletcher – the prop forward who has so far been left in limbo by the Tigers has been left dismayed by the fact he hasnt been offered a new contract.

The ex-Hull forward said: "Cas just told me they had no room for me for 2007. I had no choice – no option – i was out".

He continued: " I have a young family now, and im not sure if i can afford financially to be playing outside of Super lLeague."
