Brisbane have successfully signed Queensland-born youngster Luke Capewell on a one-year deal.

The 22-year-old, who has previously played in the NRL with South Sydney and Gold Coast, will provide some solid utility value to the Broncos’ squad.

Brisbane head coach Anthony Griffin commented “Luke is an elite young player – he has played over 30 NRL games and only turned 22 this year.

“He can play anywhere from halfback to fullback so he can certainly fill plenty of positions for us.”

Capewell has signed on for the 2012 season and will begin training with the Broncos when the next pre-season gets underway later this year.
