London have confirmed five players who will depart the club following the end of the season.

Matt Garside, Ben Pointer, Mark Offerdahl, Adrian Purtell and Junior Roqica have all been released after the Broncos rounded off their season with a 41-4 defeat to Leigh.

Head coach, Andrew Henderson, said: “I would like to thank all five of the boys for their time and efforts with the London Broncos.

“Each player has contributed to this club both on and off the field, and added value to the team.  I wish them all the best in their future endeavours.”

USA international Offerdahl has spent two seasons with the club, while Garside is the longest serving of those departing having spent three years at the Broncos after joining from Sheffield.

Academy product Pointer has already signed a deal with Newcastle for 2018, and former Bradford outside back Purtell is to return to Australia to take up a role as coach of Albury Thunder.

Fiji international Roqica departs after one season in the capital, returning Down Under ahead of the World Cup.
