Broncos release Adamson

London Broncos have released Luke Adamson by mutual consent due to family issues.

Adamson, 27, moved south at the end of last season from Championship rivals Halifax.

A club statement said: “Luke has expressed a desire to return to the north of England. The club wishes Luke all the best for his future rugby league career.”

The former Salford forward had been handed the number 13 squad number at The Hive.

Broncos coach Joey Grima isn’t expected to sign a replacement at present.
