Broncos add further depth with Cunningham loan

Lee Radford has encouraged young hooker James Cunningham to push himself during his loan spell with London.

Cunningham, 19, is about to enter his second season as a full-time professional, but is behind vice-captain Danny Houghton and Kiwi Aaron Heremaia in the Hull FC pecking order.

Radford believes that the Broncos will offer Cunningham the perfect platform to develop.

He said, “This is a great opportunity for James to take the step up to the next level and play Super League week in-week out.

“It will also be a good move for him personally, as a young lad moving away from home for the first time and adapting to a new environment.”

Cunningham has joined London with immediate effect and is available for selection alongside fellow new signings Scott Moore, Denny Solomona and Nesiasi Mataitonga.
