Broadbent tipped for Whitehaven role

Former player Gary Broadbent has been linked with a move to Whitehaven as assistant coach.

Broadbent spent six years playing for Whitehaven from 2003 to 2008. The outside back or halfback also played for Widnes, Salford and Barrow, retiring in 2011.

Broadbent is expected to join James Coyle‘s staff in the coming weeks.

Haven are currently ninth on the Championship table with three wins and four losses from their seven games.
