Bridge extends Bulls stay as Mullally departs

Bradford have extended Danny Bridge‘s loan deal until the end of the season, but fellow prop Anthony Mullally has returned to Huddersfield.

Bridge, 21, has already spent the past two months with the Bulls, since joining from parent club Warrington, and has now extended his stay, although he can be recalled by the Wolves at any time.

It’s a similar deal to that signed recently by fellow Ireland international Mullally, with his parent club the Giants exercising their right to recall him, and he returns to the John Smith’s Stadium with immediate effect.

Bulls coach Francis Cummins said: “I am absolutely delighted to have Danny on board for the remainder of the season, he has done really well for us so far.

“He has at times been forced to play out of position and has stood up to the challenge on every single occasion.

“He has worked very hard and I am really looking forward to seeing what he produces in the weeks and months ahead.

“Danny is hugely talented and still very young, meaning he has a bright future ahead of him.

“Hopefully he can continue to develop here and provide us with the level of performance which he already has done over the past eight weeks or so.”
