Brian Noble has been confirmed as the new coach of Salford City Reds.
Noble, 52, has previously coached Bradford, Wigan and Crusaders in Super League, and will take up the job on Tuesday.
The former Great Britain coach has long been linked with the role, after Phil Veivers’ sacking in March.
Reds owner Dr Marwan Koukash expressed his admiration for Noble publicly during the hunt for Veivers’ successor, and has also revealed that the club expects to make at least 10 new signings for 2014, as part of Koukash’s ambitious plans for Salford.
