After the disappointment of not being accepted into the NCL Bramley Buffaloes are looking forward to a brand new challenge in the Yorkshire Mens League.

The Yorkshire Mens League has yet to be finalised but with some positive feedback from the RFL the Buffaloes are expected to be competing in the Premier division in 2013.

The new Buffaloes Head Coach Steven Gill, appointed just before Christmas, commented “This has been a frustrating time for me and the club as, whilst we aren’t going to be competing in the NCL, I’m very much looking forward to the new challenge that lies ahead in the form of the Yorkshire Mens League.

“I have spoken to the majority of last season’s squad and there’s a good buzz. Hopefully with some other quality additions it could be a successful season for the Buffaloes”

“There are lots of rumours about the club’s demise however the committee and I have some exciting plans for the future of the club which will hopefully see the Buffaloes on an upward path for the next few years,” continued Gill.

The first pre-season training session is on Wednesday 6th February at Stanningley RL starting at 6.45. New and old players are all welcome.
