Brambani not taking Broncos lightly at Blackpool

Sheffield Eagles half-back Dominic Brambani is expecting a tough test from the London Broncos at the Summer Bash this weekend in Blackpool.

The Broncos are coached by former Eagles stalwart Andrew Henderson, and they have begun to find some form in recent weeks.

“We played London Broncos early on in the season and probably caught them a bit cold to be honest,” Brambani said.

“I think they’ve recruited a few players since we last played them.

“We’re not going to take them lightly; they’ve had a few good results in the past few weeks and we’ll be doing all the video reviews this week.

“We’ve been going really well but there’s still a lot of improving to do, we just keep working week-in week-out to get better. We’ve got a real good team spirit at the moment, and we’re playing with a bit of confidence. We just take things week by week to be honest.

“We’ve been more or less at full-strength this week and have trained well and done a lot of recovery sessions so the boys are ready to go.

“The Summer Bash is a great concept. It’s good for the players and the fans, I’m really looking forward to it.”
