Bradford turn down Leeds bid for Lulia

Bradford have rejected a bid from Leeds for centre Keith Lulia.

Lulia, 25, joined the Bulls on a two-year deal last autumn, and went on to score 11 tries in 27 appearances in his first season.

Several clubs are reported to have been interested in the Cook Islands international during Bradford’s spell in administration, but Leeds have now followed that up with a firm offer.

Bulls Football Manager Stuart Duffy said: “Leeds made an approach, through the correct channels, for Keith’s services but we rejected their offer out of hand.

“Keith is happy at the club and has been informed of the Rhinos interest. We have absolutely no intention whatsoever of allowing our best players leave and were happy to decline the Rhinos offer.”

Lulia previously played in the NRL for St George-Illawarra Dragons and Newcastle Knights.
