Bradford have signed nine youngsters to their full-time AASE programme until the end of 2015.
Ross Oakes, a centre, Liam Kirk, a prop and Michael Paul, a back row forward, have all joined from Driglington ARLFC whilst James Pickering, a centre or winger, has joined the Bulls from Francis Cummins’ old club, Dewsbury Celtic.
Completing the signings are three from the Milford Marlins club in Leeds. Jake Hrintchuck, a centre was on the Bulls Scholarship whilst his colleagues from Milford, Kieran Walpole, a centre and Macauley Barron, a stand off, were both on the Leeds Rhinos Scholarship.
Bulls Head of Youth Paul Medley is delighted to welcome them all on board.
He said: “It’s great for the club that they have all chosen to come here. It shows that confidence is returning to the Bulls after the problems of last year and these nine will be given every opportunity to push on in the system. We have invested in staff for next year as well as these players and they are coming into a very stable and quality environment.”
