Bradford owners set out to build secure future
Bradford’s new owners have launched the club’s season tickets for 2013, with a message that they want to secure a long-standing secure financial future.
The Bulls endured a turbulent 2012 season, being placed in to administration in June, before being bought by local businessman Omar Khan and his consortium, which also includes local MP Gerry Sutcliffe.
Having received advance payments from the RFL to keep the club going this season, the Bulls are likely to be short on TV revenue in the next two seasons, representing a significant cut in their budget in comparison to rival clubs.
In a message on the club’s official website, the new ownership said: “We would like to thank the people of Bradford and in particular the loyal Bradford Bulls fans for their support, encouragement and patience over what has been a difficult few months.
“Throughout we have insisted that the club develop a long standing secure financial base to ensure we never again find ourselves facing the possibility of the club going out of existence.
“We have tried to set the level of season tickets and concessions that is both financially viable and fair to fans, reflecting our continued Super League status.
“We call on the support of everyone who cares about Bradford to become involved.”
The cheapest adult season ticket price is £180 in the terrace section and £225 in the main stand, which equates to four matches free, although all under 12s can gain free entry to Bulls home matches.
Prices go up to £220 and £275 after the November 14th early bird deadline.
