Bradford have confirmed the signing of Leon Pryce from Hull FC.

Pryce came through the youth ranks at Bradford before he progressed into the first-team.

The talented outside-back has won a dozen accolades during his career, including two World Club Challenges, three Super League title and two Challenge Cups with his boyhood club.

After his time at the Bulls, Pryce joined St Helens where he added another World Club Challenge, a Super League title, plus another three Challenge Cup winner’s medals to his name.

The Bradford-born star joined Catalans Dragons for three seasons before joining Hull FC, where he has helped them to a Challenge Cup title.

“I’m excited to come back home and come back to my home town team,” Pryce said.

“It’s been a long time since I left Bradford; 2005 was my last season. I’ve always wanted to come back home for my last season.

“I know Rohan’s background with his father and his uncle who have both got a great history in England.

“He is from a good pedigree and I’ve spoken to a few of my Australian friends who have worked under Rohan back in Australia and have got nothing but good things to say about him.

“It will be great for me at this time of my career to learn under new coaching styles and you’re never too old to learn new things, so I’m looking forward to working with him.

“I think I’m at a totally different part of my career now compared to when I left the club.

“I’m a lot older and things may have changed, but hopefully, I can guide the team around and try and pass on a bit of experience.

“I’ve not played as many games for Hull as I would’ve liked to this year, but the team and the club have done tremendously well after winning at Wembley.

“I’ve had an amazing two years at the club.

“It’s been difficult at times not playing this season, but the team as a whole have been amazing and achieved something that they’ve never achieved before by winning at Wembley.

“I will play my part as a squad member until the end of the season and see if we can do another special thing by getting to the Grand Final and hopefully winning it.”
