Bradford coach John Kear says there will be some new arrivals at Bradford before the Championship season gets underway.

The Bulls announced their squad numbers for the 2021 campaign last month, with the numbers 23, 24 and 25 being left vacant.

Kear said: “There will be some arrivals. There will be some before the league season starts.”

Bradford missed out on Super League’s 12th spot for 2021 to Leigh after Toronto failed to gain re-admission in to the top flight for next season.

But Kear has made no secrets about wanting to gain promotion to Super League with the Bulls this year.

He said: “The challenge inspires me. I believe that Bradford belong in Super League, I feel like they would brings lots to Super League.

“I see it as my rugby league justice that I should attempt to get them back there and if I did that, then that would be up there with anything at all that has been achieved.

“If I did get them back there then I’d think ‘well, I want to stay here until we win something’.

“There is always something around the corner and always something to excite and challenge you and thats what inspires me.”
