Bradford Bulls 52-20 Huddersfield Giants

In a real power performance the bulls were totally dominant with David Solamona creating mayhem and getting on the score sheet in the process.  Ben Harris bagged a brace of tries, with Henderson,Burgess,Newton and St Hilaire completing the scorers, Deakin kicked 8 goals.

Huddersfield looked shellshocked for long periods, and had to endure 10 minutes with only 12 men when Lolesi got a yellow for a late hit on Deakin, But Huddersfield did show some courageand had a purple patch of their own when the Giants racked up 16 points in 7 minutes via efforts from Lolesi, Paul and Ryan Hudson to add to the excellent try scored by Chris Nero in the first half.

But it was nothing more than pride that Jon Sharpe's men were playing for by then and even the loss of influential Bradford half back I. Harris to a hamstring tear, early in the second half,  was not enough to stop the massive Bradford pack and massive outside backs, of the Bulls.

Heres a question, would the two wingers that finnished the game for Bradford, be heavier than all the starting front rows in super league, and Giant ex Brisbane Bronco, Tame Tupou already has a better try per game record than big Leslie……….no matter, the result 52 points to 20 was a true reflection of the dominance the Bulls held over the Giants, who struggled to stop the big forwards and had no answer to the sublime kicking game from Pual Deakin.

Best for Bradford were:

Deakin, Solomona, Morrison, Newton and Henderson

Best for Huddersfield were:

Brown, Aspinwall, Thorman and Hudson
