Brad Billsborough leaves Whitehaven

Whitehaven have agreed to the release of half back Brad Billsborough.

Billsborough joined the club in the off-season and has made six appearances, but was struggling with the travel commitments from his St Helens base.

Coach Carl Forster said: “It’s unfortunate we’ve got to let him go, we had big plans for him but the travel was too much which I totally understand.

“The club and I wish him all the best and thank him for his efforts in a Whitehaven shirt.”

The German international came through the academy ranks at St Helens and moved to the Cumbrian club on a two-year deal in the autumn.
