Featherstone’s Andy Bostock has committed his future to the club by signing a new contract for 2014.

Bostock, 28, has been in superb form this season and has made a number of eye catching performances since moving to the pack.

Rovers Chief Executive Craig Poskitt said, “It’s great news that Andy will be part of the 2014 squad we are building. Andy has been one of our stand out players in 2013 with some impressive displays. Our squad is taking shape nicely and we will be making further announcements on players extending their contracts with club at our crucial game against Batley on Sunday. The success of Featherstone Rovers means our players are constantly under the microscope from other clubs, we are pleased Andy decided to continue with us and enjoy some exciting times ahead.”

On signing the new contract Bostock said, “I’m thrilled to have committed my immediate future to Featherstone. I have been pleased with my form and hope to play an important part in the business end of the season and hopefully lift some silverware. 2014 is an important year for Featherstone Rovers and I am looking forward to working with John Bastian.”
