Bodene Thompson to make Warrington debut this week

Bodene Thompson is set to make his Warrington debut against Catalans on Friday.

Warrington Wolves coach Steve Price has made three changes to his side that beat Leeds Rhinos in the Challenge Cup semi-final on Sunday.

Thompson could play his first game in the primrose and blue, while Sitaleki Akauola and Morgan Smith also come into the squad. The trio replace Stefan Ratchford, Mike Cooper and Ben Murdoch-Masila.

Steve McNamara has rested several players after their Challenge Cup semi-final win over St Helens on Sunday. Sam Moa, Louis Anderson, Julian Bousquet, Lewis Tierney, Benjamin Jullien, Tony Gigot and Josh Drinkwater all sit out this week.

The Super 8s clash takes place at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday, 7:45pm kick-off.

Dragons 19-man squad: Mead, Thornley, Wiliame, Yaha, Langi, Casty, Garcia, Simon, Duport, Baitieri, Margalet, McIlorum, Albert, Maria, Da Costa, Belmas, Perez, Gourmand, Edwards.
