Blake Green sticks with Newcastle Knights for 2021

Newcastle Knights have announced veteran half-back Blake Green will stay at the club for 2021.

The 34-year-old had a deal with Canterbury for next year but the Bulldogs have agreed not to activate a previous signed playing agreement for next year so Green can stay with the Knights.

Green has made more than 250 career appearances for Parramatta, Cronulla, Canterbury, Hull KR, Wigan, Melbourne, Manly, New Zealand Warriors and Newcastle.

Knights coach Adam O’Brien said: “Blake was massively influential in the short time he spent with us during 2020 and we could not be happier to welcome him back again for 2021.
