Blake Austin has replaced Warrington team-mate Jack Hughes in the England squad for the World Cup Nines.

The Australian-born half-back has made himself available for England and Great Britain as he qualifies because of his English grandmother.

Hughes has been ruled out of the Nines World Cup because of a groin injury, although he remains hopeful of proving his fitness to join the Great Britain Lions tour of the southern hemisphere after the Nines.

All matches at the Nines World Cup on October 18-19 will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Revised England squad for the World Cup Nines:

James Graham (St George Illawarra Dragons)
