Blackbrook to hold fundraiser after arson attack

Correspondent

Blackbrook ARLFC are holding a fundraiser on Saturday September 20, as they look to fund repairs to their ground following a devastating arson attack.

The club’s newly built stand was utterly ruined in the attack, and Merseyside Fire Brigade have confirmed that the fire was only minutes away from destroying the whole club.

Club chairman Gary Swift is offering a substantial reward for information leading to the arrest and successful conviction of the person or persons responsible.

The fundraiser will be held in the club’s bar, with north west band The Fleet providing entertainment.

Any donations will be gratefully received by the club. More information is available by contacting Blackbrook ARFLC.
