Billy Driver has re-signed with London Skolars for the 2019 campaign.

The 28-year-old has put pen to paper on a new one-year contract the New River Stadium.

Driver made 25 appearances for the Skolars in League 1 last season, scoring five tries. He can play on the wing or at hooker, so he will provide plenty of versatility to Jermaine Coleman’s squad in 2019.

On extending his stay with the Skolars, Driver said: “I’m delighted to have re-signed with London Skolars for the 2019 season.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time here so far and can’t wait for the new season to start. We’ve made some really good signings and there’s a buzz about the place heading into pre-season.”

Skolars’ coach Coleman commented: “We are really excited that Billy has signed back on with us.

“Billy is a really exciting player who has lots of speed and agility. He keeps his own and he’s really developed his understanding of the game and the role that he plays and what he brings to the team. I see him being a leader this year.”
