Warrington Wolves forward Ben Westwood is set to make his 500th career appearance against Wigan Warriors this Friday at the DW Stadium.

Westwood has made 426 appearances for the Wire and made his professional debut in 1999 for Wakefield Trinity.

The England representative joined Warrington ahead of the 2002 season, enjoying his testimonial game in 2013 in which his side defeated Wigan 20-0.

It’s second against third at the DW Stadium this Friday (19:45 kick-off), as Wigan host Warrington with both sides continuing to pile the pressure on table-toppers St Helens.
